Patricia “Patty” Scaduto, 59, FDNY EMS, died in the line of duty due of World Trade Center Illness. Dedicating her life to serving her community, Patty became an EMT for NYC EMS and spent 35 years taking care of the residents and visitors to New York City. She was a first responder at the World Trade Center and worked on the rescue and recovery efforts in the months following. Patricia just wanted to do her job without any fanfare, one of the many reasons that made her special. A beloved wife and devoted mother, she loved the quiet life and enjoyed being a homemaker.
