Life Saver
Marcus “Marc” Gann, 63, Life Saver, died in the line of the duty in an air medical accident. With an unwavering love for his country, he enlisted in the Army at age 17 which began his mission of saving lives. He lived the motto “it’s not the destination, it’s the journey.” Marc achieved the goals of being a paratrooper and Army Ranger and received several commendations. He served as Assistant Chief and Chief for the County Line and Oak Grove Fire Departments and could often be seen by the side of the highway with a fireman’s boot collecting money for the volunteer fire department.
