Paul Daniels, 80, FDNY EMS, died in the line of duty due to World Trade Center Illness. Dedicating his life to helping others, he followed his passion for EMS by becoming a paramedic. He was a first responder at the World Trade Center where he continued to serve many months at Ground Zero during the rescue and recovery efforts. A paramedic others would strive to be, he was competent, easy-going and had a positive bedside manner with patients and families. Paul, a father, and brother was a loving family man who enjoyed being involved in local community events.
