Mary “Katie” Pipkins, 30, ASAP EMS, died in the line of duty while rendering aid at a car accident. Very passionate about serving her community, she began her journey in public service through various medical positions. Dedicated to helping others, Katie worked as an EMT and a volunteer with the Mt. Pisgah VFF Association and greatly enjoyed providing help with her ASAP family. She was a member of Living Waters Pentecostal Church, a devoted daughter, loving sister, aunt, cousin, and a friend to so many. Her spirit of service and genuine personality will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
